Gratitude

The moments when “enlightenment” seems to dawn are beautiful, pre-dawn hints of the full light to come. A sure way to embrace and to deepen these illuminations is gratitude. Profound gratitude is profound peace, and from there the way is easy to follow. You can be grateful for any grace received, any increase in clarity of mind, any release from ego tyrannies such as fears, addictions. 

Don’t be discouraged if life seems like a “striped existence”, with alternating times of relative light and dark, a sort of toggling on and off of your peace. That’s just you, trembling on the brink. Persist.

Gratitude is simple, easily recognised and takes but a moment’s “work” to arrive at.

Just being grateful for Being is a joyous “pre-dawn” moment!
