Breakfast and the memory banks

No persuasion here, I’m not coercing anyone to do anything. But, if you’re interested, it’s easy to check this out.

Unless I am consciously experiencing my avocado and tomato on toasted Turkish bread as a here-and-now, brand new, fresh experience, I am filtering the taste of my breakfast through my memory banks!

It’s yesterday’s avo on toast I’m eating!

And, of course, it goes without saying (but I am going to say it) that the same goes for the experience of my partner, my beloved, my significant other. Most of the time we see an image drawn from the memory banks rather than the actuality – in the present moment.

Whether it comes unexpectedly, and lasts but a moment, this freshly-minted Now perception also contains a wonderful gift: I experience myself in my Wholeness!
