If you can see what is in your face –

“If you can see what is in your face – there is nothing that will be hidden from you.” — That is my paraphrase from memory. It’s from the Gospel of Thomas.

Here it is again, lifted from  an online PDF copy:

“Know what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to you. For there is nothing hidden that won’t be revealed.”

  1. Hi Joe: I would like to warn you that the Sayings contained in the Gospel of Thomas are not what you think they are. Anyone who tries to interpret them is wasting his time. If you are interested in knowing who, when, why and the Source from which the Sayings were created, you will find that information on my Blog. You don’t need to leave a comment on my Blog, but if you do want to comment, do it by email. I would like your thoughts on this matter. Thanks Peter

    1. Hi Peter, I left a comment on your blog. I found your whole research extraordinary, however I couldn’t really understand what you were trying to do. I wish you well however. My search leads along different lines, not so much what scriptures say but whether we can experience God, our ‘capital S’ Self, and experience true Peace within. I would not try to interpret Thomas, rather notice when it reflects my experience. Blessings, Joe
